What a solid partner can do in difficult times.

We have been using the SolidEdge and Insight products in our company for years. Due to the discontinuation of Insight, we have been working intensively with UNITEC since September 2019 on the changeover to its successor Primus. Following the idea of consistent digitalisation, all connections from Primus to the CAD and IT infrastructure as well as to our ERP and production system were further optimised in our company together with UNITEC. The actual changeover to Primus took place at the beginning of the Corona crisis in Germany, with many of our employees in their home offices. Here, too, we were able to count on UNITEC's competent support in setting up and optimising the workstations in the home office. We are very satisfied with the result and Primus and are pleased to have UNITEC as a committed and competent partner at our side.

Innovative concept from German production

Sedotec GmbH & Co. KG is a globally established specialist in the manufacture and supply of control cabinet systems and control cabinet parts for the electrical industry. With over 50 years of experience, Sedotec produces sheet metal and copper parts as well as electrical assemblies in Germany according to the highest quality criteria. Around 50 % of these are exported all over the world. Most recently, the company, with locations in Ladenburg and Mittweida/Saxony, with over 100 employees and about 12,000 sqm of production space, achieved a turnover of over 20 million euros. With their own Vamocon system for low-voltage switchgear, the Ladenburg-based company shows how innovations together with the highest quality and adherence to deadlines can be successful in Germany. Since its introduction in 2008, Vamocon has been a switchgear system for which customers - planners, switchgear constructors, installers or users - can freely choose the circuit breaker. This was well received and has massively boosted Ladenburg's success. And so, over time, many customers have become partners - and Vamocon has become the favourite of planners due to its numerous advantages and its regular top scores in tests. Vamocon systems can be found in a wide variety of applications in industry and building services. The control cabinets 'made in Germany' can be found at Daimler, Porsche and Bosch, among others, as well as at Carl Zeiss, Coca Cola or the UN in Bonn.
